How to Cook Arroz De Pato |
Ingredients Cook Arroz De Pato:
- 1 whole duck
- 1¼ cup of extra-long wheat rice
- 2 onions
- 1 carrot, cut the box very small
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 bay leaf.
- Choriço (Portuguese Chorizo)
- Red wine cup
- 5 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
How to make Arroz de Pato:
- Put the duck in the pan. Add 1/2 onion, bay leaves, red wine, and a little salt.
- Close with water and cook with medium heat for 1 hour 30 minutes, or, depending on the quality of the duck, until the meat starts to escape the bone. When the stew liquid mostly evaporates, add boiling water.
- Remove the duck from the pan. Discard the skin and bones, then cut the meat.
- Strain the cooking liquid and put it to process rice.
- Soft chopped onion.
- Roughly chop the chorizo aside.
- In a large Dutch oven, the panasi olive oil and using onions, garlic, carrots, and chopped chorizo.
- Using with medium heat until golden brown color.
- Add 1-minute rice and fries, stirring.
- Add 5 cups of broth that have been requested and cook for 10 minutes.
- Seasoning revision if necessary.
- Add meat and stir until smooth.
- Panasonic Oven to 350 F / 180 C.
- Pour duck rice with juice (if it is left), on a large baking sheet and spread the upper side.
- Decorate with the remaining chorizo and baked pieces for 15 minutes or until golden brown rice.
- Sure really hot.
