Ingredients:

  • 150 grams of quinoa flour
  • 75 gr cornstarch
  • 20 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 15 gr baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 75 g dark chocolate 70-75%
  • 225 ml soy milk
  • 15 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 100 gr corn oil
  • 100 g whole cane sugar



How to Make Italian Gluten Free Chocolate Cake Recipe:

  1. Before preparing the gluten-free chocolate cake, preheat the oven to 180°C and line a 22-24 cm diameter cake pan with parchment paper. In a bowl, sift flour, starch, cocoa, and baking powder. Add a pinch of salt and set aside for a moment.
  2. In a bowl, combine the soy milk at room temperature, vinegar, oil, and sugar. Stir and let rest.
  3. Coarsely chop or crack chocolate and melt in a bain-marie. When the chocolate is really dripping, pour into the milk-based combination and stir until smooth with a whisk to add ingredients.
  4. Combine the 2 compounds and mix vigorously with a whisk or in a planetary mixer. Pour the batter into the pan, flatten and bake in the oven at 180 ° C for about 35-40 minutes.
  5. Check the dish with a toothpick: if after inserting it into the center of the pastry it means the cake is cooked, otherwise continue cooking for a while. Serve the gluten-free chocolate cake warm or at room temperature with a sprinkling of icing sugar.
