Well, at first, the mochi is very chewy, gooey rice balls usually filled with ice cream, kidney beans, or sesame paste - a real sweet taste. But you can fill the mochi with anything - more like pasta the better, so it melts into the thick rice husks.

Mochi skin:
- 120 g glutinous rice flour
- 50 g powdered sugar
- 100 ml thick coconut milk
- 100 ml liquid milk
- 30 g cornstarch
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Content:
- 200 g purple sweet potato, steamed, mashed
- 50 ml thick coconut milk
- 25 g sugar
- 2 pandan leaves, tie a knot
Sprinkled:
- 100 g glutinous rice flour, roasted
How to Make Mochi
- Filling: Cook the coconut milk, sugar, and pandan leaves until the sugar dissolves. Lift.
- Pour the coconut milk into the smooth purple sweet potato, stir until smooth. Store in the refrigerator until it can be molded.
- Divide the filling into 10 parts. Set aside.
- Mochi Skin: Mix all ingredients well. Steam in a hot pot until cooked. Lift. Cover the container with a clean cloth, let it cool. Set aside.
- Divide the mochi dough into 10 equal parts.
- Take 1 part of the mochi skin, place it on a cutting board sprinkled with roasted glutinous rice flour, roll it with a rolling pin to a thickness of 0.5 cm.
- Put 1 part of the filling in the middle, close tightly. Do it until all the ingredients run out. Serve immediately.
