Dalgano - Recipes Japan Kamameshi literally translates to "kettle rice" and is a traditional Japanese rice dish cooked in a cast-iron pot called kama. Kamameshi originally referred to rice eaten together from kama.

Ikameshi Ingredients:
- 2 pieces of squid
- Japanese rice to taste
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sesame
- 1 tsp soy sauce

Sauce Ingredients:
- 300 ml Dashi kaldu broth
- 1/2 tbsp vinegar
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
How to make kameshi:
- Put in a bowl: Japanese rice, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame and 1 tsp sesame oil. Stir well.
- Put the rice into the squid. Cover the base of the squid with a toothpick.
- Prepare the ikameshi sauce by adding dashi stock, sugar, soy sauce, and vinegar. Stir well until boiling.
- Put the squid into the sauce and let it sit for a few minutes until the spices are absorbed.
- Cut the squid into small pieces. Arrange on a plate and drizzle with the sauce.
