Ingredients:
- Canned fish in oil - 200 g (1 can is better than saury)
- Potatoes - 300 G (4 medium potatoes)
- Carrots - 200 G (4 medium carrots)
- Onion - 100 g (2 medium onions)
- Cheese - 150 Gr (Hard)
- Mayonnaise - 250 Gr
- Eggs - 4 Pieces
- Greens - 50 g (fennel or parsley)
Steps to Cook Classic Russian Mimosa Salad Recipe:
- The first step is to boil potatoes, carrots, and eggs. Cool and peel boiled food. On a soft grater, grate the potatoes, carrots, whites, egg yolks, and cheese (all in a separate bowl or plate). Add fish and oil to a salad bowl and knead with a fork all over the underside of the plate. Spread with a little mayonnaise on top.
- Put grated protein on top of the fish, spread with mayonnaise.
- Keep the grated carrots on top of the whites and reapply with a small arrangement of mayonnaise.
- Finely chop the onion, pour boiling water and let it brew for 5-10 minutes to remove the bitter taste. Put onions on top of carrots, potatoes on top of onions, add a pinch of salt and sprinkle with mayonnaise.
- Gently grate cheese on top and spread with mayonnaise.
- The final arrangement is a salad garnish with grated yolks and spices. Before serving, let it brew and soak in a cool location for 2 hours. Enjoy your meal!
