Ingredients
- 500 grams of chicken breast, then cut into 1/2 x 2 cm
- 1 egg white
- 2 tablespoons Ang you, or can also be replaced with apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Maizena
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying and also for sauteing spices
- 1 teaspoon Garlic, then finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Ginger, then finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 2-3 dried chilies, then sliced 1 cm, then fried until crispy and browned
- 1 tablespoon thinly sliced scallions
- 2 tablespoons roasted peanuts without skin
How to make Chinese Gong Bao
- The first step is to coat the chicken with angciu, egg white, salt, and cornstarch. Then set aside for about 3 minutes and while heating the oil for frying
- Then fry the chicken until everything is submerged at a very high temperature for about 30 seconds, remove and then drain and set aside
- Next, leave about 1 teaspoon of cooking oil in the pan.
- Saute with garlic and ginger until it changes color and releases aroma. Add rice vinegar, soy sauce, and sugar. Stir again until smooth.
- Next, add the dry chilies, chicken, and spring onions until everything is mixed for about 4 minutes.
- Next enter the fried peanuts, serve immediately with rice.
