Dalgano - China Food | Bakpao is a typical Chinese food and is quite famous in Indonesia. Bakpao comes from two words, namely bak meaning meat, and pao meaning package.
Initially, the meat used in Bakpao was pork, but as it developed, the contents varied, ranging from chicken, vegetables, fish, sweet serikaya, soybean butter, green beans, and so on. The wrap itself is made from flour dough that is given yeast. Bakpao has a soft or chewy texture with a sweet or savory taste depending on the contents.

Ingredients:
- 250 Low protein flour
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 150 ml of water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp Margarine
- 2 sheets Steaming paper/parchment paper
- 2 sheets of steaming paper/parchment paper
How to make:
- In a clean bowl, mix flour and salt.
- Mix water, instant yeast, and sugar. Stir, wait until foamy. This is a sign that the yeast is active.
- Add mixture number 2 to flour. Stir with a spatula until half smooth.
- Add butter. Knead until completely smooth for about 15 minutes. Divide the bun dough into 10 equal parts.
- Take a break for about 15 minutes. Don't forget to cover it with plastic wrap, Moms!
- After rising, deflate the dough.
- Fill with chocolate or whatever filling you like. Place on parchment paper which has also been divided into several parts.
- Steam the buns for about 20 minutes.
- Remove and serve while warm. It goes well with a cup of hot coffee.
