Ingredients:
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups (850 ml) 4% or homogenized milk
- cup (120 mL) melted butter
- cup (250 mL) unbleached all-purpose flour
- tsp (2 ml) salt
- tsp (2ml) baking powder
- A few grinds of black pepper
- 2-4 cups (650–1000 mL) diced cooked ham, cooked sausage chunks, chopped bell pepper, scallions, sautéed mushrooms, cooked potato cubes, steamed broccoli florets or asparagus chunks.
- 4 cups (1000 mL) grated cheese
- Preheat oven to 700'F (360'C). Oil or butter 18” (46 cm) pie plate.
