Broccoli Matsutake Mushroom Recipe, Japanese Food

Dalgano -  Recipes Japan The presence of Matsutake mushrooms in Japanese autumn can be said to be like truffles to Italians. The Japanese take pride in their matsutake mushrooms. This juicy mushroom comes from the pine tree and gives off a rich umami flavor.

The aroma and taste are so amazing that they are often referred to as the King of Japanese Autumn Food. You can choose to enjoy the dish with grilled mushrooms, or as part of steamed rice. You can also find it in seasonal soups, which are often served as clear dashi broth. Even with very simple spices, the taste of food will be upgraded only by the presence of this mushroom.
