Ingredients

  • 8 tablespoons butter, room temperature
  • 8 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 5 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons a little baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons a little active dry yeast
  • 2 teaspoons salt



How to make Beschuit Met Muisjes

  1. Cream the butter and sugar.
  2. Add flour, baking powder, yeast, and salt to a bowl, mix and add to buttercream.
  3. Add milk and eggs and knead everything into a smooth dough for about 5 minutes.
  4. Cover and place in a greased bowl for 15 minutes, then divide into 3.5-ounce pieces.
  5. Roll up and rest under a towel while preparing the casserole dish. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  6. Spray cooking spray on each casserole dish.
  7. Place dough balls on a top plate, cover each with a top plate and remove the dough for about 30 minutes.
  8. Place the tray on the middle rack and bake for 20 minutes with the mold in place.
  9. Remove the top plate, remove the casserole plate, turn the beshit over, and bake for another 10 minutes

  11.  cut the surface on a top plate, lower the rusk to 325F, dry, and place in the oven until light brown (it will take another 10-15 minutes).
  12. When it dries in gold, take it out and refrigerate it for fun!
