Ingredients:
- Rolled Oats 340 grams
- 2400 gram all-purpose flour
- Corn oil 2 tablespoons
- Butter 800gram (melted)
- Sugar 160gram
- Baking powder 22 tablespoons
- Salt 5 teaspoons
- water 300 ml
Topping Ingredients:
- Butter to taste
- Enough jam
- Enough syrup
- Honey to taste
How to Make Bannock Oat Bread:
- Preheat the oven at 200 °C, grease the pie plate with enough oil.
- Prepare a large container, add flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, and salt, then stir until well blended.
- Enter the melted butter that has cooled, stir until blended, add water and stir sufficiently until smooth (do not stir too long).
- Pour the dough into the pie mold plate, pat the dough using the palm of your hand just enough until the dough is flush with the mold.
- Cut the dough using a knife into 8 parts or according to taste to make it easier during the cutting process.
