Apfelstrudel Recipe
Dalgano - German Food | This is one way to process food made from potatoes. Badische Schupfnudeln can be cooked by boiling potatoes, seasoned and added with flour, then fried. This dish is very suitable to be eaten as a snack.

Ingredients
Results:
- High protein wheat flour- 500 grams
- Korsvet- 250 grams
- Margarine- 50 grams
- Salt- 1/2 tablespoon
- Sugar- 5 tablespoons
- Coldwater- 250 ml
- Wheat flour, for sprinkling- 50 grams
Stuffing:
- Apples, diced- 2 pieces
- Sugar- 2 tablespoons
- Palm sugar- 2 tablespoons
- Salt- 1/4 teaspoon
- Lemon juice- 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon powder- 1/2 teaspoon
- Maizena- 1/2 tablespoon
- Butter- 1 tablespoon
Spread:
- Egg yolk- 1 egg
- Fresh milk - 1 tablespoon
Making Method:
- Take the corset then shape it into a 15 x 15 cm square. Set aside.
- In a bowl, mix all ingredients except for the flour, then knead until smooth.
- Flatten/roll the dough until it becomes a size of ± 20 x 40 centimeters.
- Place the corvette on top of the flattened dough, position it in the middle, then fold the dough on the right and left of the corvette in/middle. Until 3 arrangements are created, namely dough-corset-dough.
- Flatten/roll the dough back to a size of 20 x 40 centimeters. Fold back some kind of envelope.

- Wrap the puff pastry dough using plastic wrap, after that it is ready in the freezer.
- Ready to use.
Method of Making Stuffing:
- In a saucepan, cook all ingredients except butter until thickened.
- Add the butter. Stir well. Turn off the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- Ready to use.
Solution:
- In a bowl, mix the spread ingredients and mix well. Set aside.
- Take the puff pastry dough. Flatten / grind to a size of 20 x 20 cm.
- Fill with apples, then cover the pastry dough with one side, sort of like a roll.
- Brush the top surface with oil.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 180°C until cooked. Remove from oven.
- Ready to serve.
Tips:
- The type of apple used can be adjusted to taste, such as poor apples or fuji apples.
- Do not cook the apples too long because the texture will become mushy and tend to be runny.
