Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of yakisoba noodles (alternatively use wet noodles)
  • 2 tbsp neutral-flavored vegetable oil
  • 250 gr chicken, thinly sliced
  • 5 shitake mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 carrot, cut into small pieces
  • 4 pieces of cabbage, chopped
  • 2 scallions Black pepper grains as needed Dried seaweed as needed, make the topping
  • Saute Sauce Ingredients:
  • 150 ml soy sauce
  • 4 teaspoons tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce






Yakisoba cooking method:
  1. Mix all sauce ingredients, set them aside.
  2. Place the boiled and drained noodles in a bowl. Add a teaspoon of oil. Stir to separate noodles, set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining oil over high heat for one to 2 minutes. Add the chicken pieces, cook for a while.
  4. Add mushrooms, onions, and carrots. Cook until half cooked. Add cabbage, cook, until done. Pour in the chopped scallions, cook for about 30 seconds and add ground pepper.
  5. Put the noodles in the pan then reduce the heat. Stir to mix the noodles with all the vegetables. Add the mixed yakisoba sauce, stir into the noodle preparation and cook until the sauce absorbs.
  6. Pour the yakisoba on a plate, put a sprinkling of pieces of seaweed on top. You can also add pickled ginger.
