Ingredients:

  • Japanese Style Pilaf:
  • 200 gr rice
  • 400 ml water/chicken stock
  • 50 gr green peas
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 leek, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon margarine/vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon mirin/sugar
  • *Amount of water can be adjusted to taste

Spaghetti Napolitan:

  • 50 gr dry spaghetti
  • 2 button mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1 sausage, sliced ​​diagonally
  • 1/4 green bell pepper, sliced ​​lengthwise
  • cooking oil as needed for frying

Spice:

  • 1/4 of an onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon grated cheddar cheese
  • salt to taste

Chicken Katsu:

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 chicken egg, beaten
  • 100 gr breadcrumbs/panko
  • salt to taste
  • pepper powder to taste
  • enough oil for frying

Demi-Glace Sauce:

  • 100 ml water
  • 50 gr wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 bush onion, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme

Salad:

  • 1 tomato
  • 4 pieces of lettuce
  • mayonnaise / plain yogurt to taste





How to cook:

Method of Making Pilaf:

  1. Wash the rice thoroughly, then soak it in broth.
  2. Bring the rice and stock to a boil over high heat, then add the carrots, peas, and leeks.
  3. Season with soy sauce, mirin/sugar, turmeric powder, and margarine/vegetable oil.
  4. Add carrots and peas, then stir slightly to mix well.
  5. Cover the pot or pan so that the rice is cooked. When the liquid has been absorbed and the rice is cooked, remove it immediately.


Method of Making Spaghetti Napolitan:

  1. Next, make spaghetti Neapolitan. Heat water in a saucepan and boil spaghetti until cooked.
  2. While waiting for the spaghetti to cook, heat a little cooking oil and sauté the sausage, peppers, onions, and garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the tomato sauce and grated cheddar cheese. You can add a little water so it doesn't burn.
  4. When the spaghetti is cooked, immediately remove and drain the water.
  5. Add the spaghetti to the sauce, then mix well.
  6. Method of Making Chicken Katsu:
  7. The next step is to make chicken katsu. Smash the chicken until it's flat. After that sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.
  8. Place the flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs in a separate bowl.
  9. Roll the chicken in the flour. After that, dip it into the beaten egg. Finally, coat with breadcrumbs. Make sure all surfaces of the chicken are covered in breadcrumbs.
  10. Heat the oil in a frying pan, then fry the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  11. Remove the chicken katsu from the frying pan when the surface is golden.

Method of Making Demi-Glace:

  1. Make the demi-glace sauce for the katsu pair. Toast the flour in a frying pan, then mix with the onions, tomato sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, water, thyme, and salam.
  2. Cook until the demi-glace is thickened and bubbling, then remove from heat.

Method of Making Salad:

  1. Finally, make a vegetable salad. Slice lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. After that pour mayonnaise or yogurt.
  2. Prepare pilaf with katsu, spaghetti, and vegetable salad. Don't forget to drizzle the katsu with demi-glace sauce.
