Jangjorim Recipe, Sesame Seasoned Quail Eggs

Dalgano - Recipes Korean | Quail eggs seasoned with sesame oil or known as jangjorim in Korea. Here's the formula for those who are interested in trying to cook jangjorim. The ingredients for jangjorim are very simple and for those of you who don't eat quail eggs, it can be replaced with ordinary chicken eggs.

Jangjorim Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 20 quail eggs
  • 7 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 large red chilies
  • 2 large green chilies
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon lime juice
  • Enough water






How to cook :

  1. Clean the quail eggs. Boil water, pour 1 tablespoon vinegar. Add quail eggs and boil until cooked for about 10 minutes.
  2. Pour water and soak in cold water, the eggshell will be easier to peel.
  3. Boil 500 ml of water, add soy sauce, sugar, salt, garlic, and all chilies.
  4. Add quail eggs after boiling. Boil the eggs with the spices until they turn brown. Just one minute. Turn off the fire. Leave it to cool.
  5. Transfer the jangjorim, quail eggs, and the sauce to a closed container.
