Galbi Jjim Recipe, Korean Ribs Stew

Ingredients :
- 1.5 kilograms of beef ribs
- 2 carrots
- enough water
Seasoning Sauce:
- 1 pear, peeled and chopped
- 1 medium-size onion
- 4 cloves of garlic, puree
- 6 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons palm sugar (brown sugar)
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons mirin (can be replaced with apple cider vinegar)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon dark pepper, puree
How to cook:
- Soak the ribs in water so that the blood comes out, change the water with clean water when it is red.
- Soak until the water is clear or no blood comes out.
- Combine all ingredients and smooth blender. Boil the ribs for about 30 minutes, drain the water.
- Rinse the ribs, cut, and remove the fat. Bring the ribs to a boil again for about 10 minutes in a pressure cooker.
- Add the sauce and carrots. Stir well. Lock the pressure cooker lid and cook for about 20 minutes. Turn off the fire. When the hot steam has disappeared, open the lid of the pot. Check if it is soft.
- Make sure to use enough water (until the ribs are submerged) so they don't lose water and burn.
