Jambi Tilapia Fish Recipe

Dalgano - Fishkeeping is a typical cooking method from the Jambi region. With very simple spices, the fish is cooked over low heat using a little oil. Usually cooked without removing the scales.

Tilapia Fish


Material:

  • 2 Tilapia
  • 4 Spoons of Salt
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 Spoons Palmia Garlic


Ground spices:

  • 2 slices of ginger
  • 2 Spoon Pepper



Cooking Steps:

  1. Marinate the fish with lime juice, ground spices, and salt and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat Palmia Garlic, add fish, reduce heat, and cover.
  3. Cook until one side is brown and cooked through then flip the other side.
  4. Cook over low heat until the fish is cooked and browned then remove from heat.
