Jambi special chili pempek recipe



ingredients:

  • 400 grams of wheat flour
  • 400 grams of sago flour (can use sago Tani)
  • 6 cloves of red onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 25 pieces of red chili
  • 25 pieces of cayenne pepper
  • 4 lime leaves
  • 2 turmeric leaves
  • 2 spring onions
  • 2 sachets of powdered broth
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Enough water.





How to make:

  1. How to make Pempek Sambal Dough: add sago flour and water, stir until it's runny, then heat it on low heat until it has a glue-like texture, then remove.
  2. Add the scallion, salt, and powdered stock, mix well after that add the flour little by little until it runs out and the dough can be formed.
  3. Heat the oil over medium heat, take the dough into a little ball shape and flatten it like a cireng.
  4. Fry the dough until golden remove and drain.

how to make sweet-spicy chili:

  1. Blend chili, onion, garlic until smooth
  2. Heat the oil, add the blended chilies, turmeric leaves, and lime leaves, cook until cooked, season with sugar and salt.
  3. Add the drained pempek.
  4. Serve.
